Climbing the fence into what used to be Manor Garden Allotments, long before the erection of the blue fence. There is a slideshow of pictures from this project here, which is updated fairly regualrly.

Great site and idea - do you accept commissions? - My wife and I would like a photograph of you standing on the site of the Stratford pie factory where we both met and worked for a few years in the 90's that is now sadly part of this Olympic redevelopment and hold treasured memories for us.
I would pay good money for an A1 print of you dressed as Ann Of Cleaves at 3am, facing London City Airport stood on a step ladder holding a burnt sparkler with the end of your cock dipped in a half eaten jar of Maxwell House? - even better if at the same time you were playing anything from the Warp back catalogue - Nightmares on Wax etc.

Hmmm, getting into the site with a stepladder and the other props, wearing elizabethan atire! now there's a challenge. I guess that's a no unless you're willing to drop all the extras and just make do with the location and my normal clothes.

Interesting post. Strangely compelling read. I've set fictions in building sites - pre-tunnel-link King's Cross the principle - and on the Greenway, so know well the allure. I'm considering some sort of fictional blog format, and have a few photographs of site barriers with accompanying texts. Your non-fictional blog will help. You mention Omega Man: are you aware of Stalker?

I've just posted the beginnings of my blog. Since, as I say above, yours helped me conceive it, here's a link:

Rupert, Thanks for the interest, Yes I know Stalker well. The experience of making these trespasses is pretty similar.

Glad to see your stalking the zone again. Your grip on the digger maw particularly dramatic. You muse on diggers, dereliction and destruction. It makes me think of Freud's death wish, and your site doubtless taps into end-of-world/destruction of cities fantasies as a whole - from Babylonian to William Morris to Watchmen. Surely yours deserves to be a blook - publication timed perhaps for sale at the gates come the time.
